4-Week Workshops

Our filmmaking course is designed to take students from script to screen in 4 weeks.

  • We provide production and artistic guidance on all levels - from getting your scripts into shape, casting the right actors, nailing down quality locations and gathering every necessary element for a successful shoot  - all within budget and time constraints.

  • Every faculty member is available to help you prepare your film for excellence.

  • PIFA provides classroom instruction from working professionals to refine your skills. We specialize in screenwriting, directing, camera shooting, editing, sound design and all aspects of post-production, BUT we aim mostly at getting down to work - including shot-lists and storyboarding to develop a concrete approach for framing your story on film.

  • We raise your production to its highest quality, including your music & sound design, as each specialized department will help guide your film to its most successful conclusion.

By the end of week 2, students will be ready to shoot, and depending on project readiness, each film will be scheduled to go.

Others will begin shooting their films in week 3, but every film will have a minimum of 2-3 days of principle photography and approximately one week of post-production before the premiere at PIFA'S student film festival, concluding the end of each program.

We work fast and efficiently to produce the highest quality film in a real-world production company environment.

This could be you.
