4-wk Filmmaking Workshops (Bootcamps)

Our 4-wk filmmaking course is designed to lead students from script to finished film.

  • We provide production and artistic guidance on all levels - from getting your scripts into shape immediately, to casting the right actors, nailing down quality locations and gathering every necessary element for a successful shoot  - all within budget and time constraints.

  • Each faculty member helps you prepare your film for excellence.

  • Our school does provide classroom instruction from working pros to refine your skills in screenwriting, directing (directing actors), camera, editing, sound design and all aspects of post-production, BUT we aim mostly at getting down to work - including shotlists and storyboards to develop a concrete approach to framing your story on film.

  • We will help raise your production level to the highest, including your approach to music & sound design - each specialized department will guide your film to its most successful conclution.

By the end of week 2, students will be ready to shoot, and depending on project readiness, each film will be scheduled to go.

Others will begin shooting their films in week 3, but every film will have a minimum of 2-3 days of principle photography and approximately one week of post-production before being prepared for the premiere at PIFA'S student festival at the end of the program.

We work fast and effienciently to produce the highest quality film in a real world production company enviroment.
